We take young engineers from Richmond Hill and Markham and nurture their abstract thinking, problem solving skills, and foster long lasting relationships and collaborative skills.
Our Vex IQ Program offers an exciting opportunity for students in Grades 3–7 to learn robotics, engineering, and programming in a fun and collaborative environment.
Every student gets to compete, even in their first year — we believe this is the best way to
learn. True growth happens through the experience of building, testing, winning, and
learning from challenges. After all, lessons and theory only take you so far.
Whether your child is new or experienced, we've built a proven coaching system to support
them from the ground up.
Our full-season VEX IQ program gives students in Grades 3–7 the opportunity to build, program, and compete with their own robot in official tournaments across Ontario.
Full access to robot parts, tools, and our practice field
Ongoing coaching for the entire competition season (July to May)

A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradise
Students learn to think beyond instructions. Through hands-on building and strategy, they develop abstract thinking skills.
Every challenge in VEX IQ is a puzzle. Students are encouraged to experiment, fail fast, iterate, and improve.
Schools may not allow all students to get equal involvement, but at Silver Owl Robotics doing just that something we take pride in.
Not sure if robotics is right for your child? Our $10 trial session gives you a hands-on preview of what the full VEX IQ experience is like — no pressure, no commitment.

Your child won’t sit and watch — they’ll build, code, and test a real VEX IQ robot. It’s the best way to experience what robotics at Silver Owl actually feels like.
Not every child learns the same way. Our trial session helps you see whether robotics sparks curiosity, focus, and excitement for your child — with zero pressure.
